An Invitation to The Shoshichi Kobayashi Memorial Symposium and Reception

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

I hope that this announcement finds you in good health.

As you are already aware, Professor Shoshichi Kobayashi passed away on August 29, 2012. We plan to hold a memorial symposium in recognition of his great contributions to the mathematical community. Your participation will be much appreciated.

We also would like to invite you to attend the memorial reception which is scheduled for the last day of the symposium.
